SCORE volunteers, working and retired executives and small business owners, serve as "Counselors to America's Small Business." They are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge who donate thousands of hours to help small businesses succeed. Counselors are experts in such areas as accounting, finance, marketing, management and business plan preparation.
We offer free and confidential advice and long-term mentoring to help you start, grow and manage your business – from idea, to startup, to success. We also offer low cost seminars and workshops for both start-up and in-business entrepreneurs; an excellent opportunity to network with local, small business owners.
Houston Chapter of SCORE, with more than 80 volunteers, has been helping entrepreneurs and small business owners in Houston since 1965.
